Rhys Millen Racing and Hyundai are out to defend their 2012 World Record at the Pikes Peak Hill Climb. This year Hyundai is elevating its game with a two-car team as Paul Dallenbach, a Pikes Peak veteran and a local Colorado fan favorite, will join Mad Skills Millen in attacking the famed mountain course.
Millen's new whip for 2013 will be producing a massive 900 hp and 800 lb-ft of torque. The chassis will be a lightweight Genesis Coupe like design. Dallenbach will be behind the wheel of last year's record setting Genesis Coupe - the very same Genesis that Millen uses for the Formula Drift series. Dallenbach will be racing in the Time Attack 2WD class, while Millen will be focusing on the unlimited class. The partnerships of these two racers are expected to set new world records in their individual classes.
Hyundai is confident these two drivers will demonstrate the performance and durability of Hyundai engineering. Practice and qualifying days begin on June 26. You'll definitely want to see this dynamic duo throw it down on race day, June 30th.
