Motul Autech GT-R Places Third in Super GT Season Opener

 The legendary Super GT series is officially underway with the first round taking place in Okayama, Japan.   Rainy weather conditions didn't stop the 16,000 plus fans that came to see the track action.  The popular Motul Autech GT-R piloted by Masataka Yanagida and Ronnie Quintarelli finished third for the season opener.

 It was on lap 77 where Yanagida ran into a substantial amount of tire marbles.  Marbles are the discarded pieces of rubber that litter the track.  The vibration caused by the marbles lead to locking brakes, which ultimately slowed down their pace.  The last ten laps was an intense battle, but the Raybrig HSV-010 and Kehin HSV-010 managed to pass the Motul GT-R.   According to Quintarellie the outcome was reasonable for the first round.  A podium finish was a first for Quintarellie.   Check out some Super GT highlights in the video below.
