NYC-based NRG Tech's Chris Miller (Whose drag EG can be seen on stands now in sister publication Hondatuning magazine) won this past weekend's Englishtown Fall Nationals drag racing competition, edging out West-Coast rivals Speedfactory with an 8.58sec @152mph over Speedfactory's 9.96@122 (on two cylinders!).
Miller ran as fast as an 8.439@181.15 earlier in the day, breaking certification for the Outlaw class—meaning that if he ran faster than an 8.50 E.T. again, he'd have been disqualified for the race.
As it was, that didn't happen, and once 8.66-running Tony Palo redlit in the semi-finals, Miller "coasted" to a win over last month's winner of the M Factory Shootout at Sacramento Raceway in CA.
