I finally got around to finishing the install for my front mount intercooler from XS Engineering over the weekend. I guess it takes a holiday weekend for me to actually get shiit done.
Here are just a few snaps during the oil chance that ensued while I was feeling productive. This is an awesome kit. Notice how the factory BPV retains its original location. Although I'm not too thrilled about losing my bumper beam, in this case, you gotta pay to play. Plus, it's not like I plan on hitting anything anytime soon (knocks on wood). The only thing I need to do now is grind the fender well clearance down, it's a little too close for my liking. And for the record, I am super happy with the powder-coating job I went with. Check out how clean it all looks. The only bad thing is: now I need to get my intake piping powder-coated to match, but eh, I'm still super stoked on this kit. Butt dyno - feels like driving on a cold night all the time. Actual dyno - need to install a couple more parts (wink wink) and have the ECU tuned again, so stay tuned (pun intended).
