Dammn is it the weekend yet? I can't wait for Saturday. A bunch of my old car buddies and I are getting together for a little summer time BBQ chill out full of nice cars, radio controlled drifting, good food, good drinks, and good people.
Hopefully this weekend I'll get a chance to install my front-mount, hood vent, and wingless trunk (not to mention change my oil, hook up my water temp gauge, dammn the list goes on and on) but I digress. The main thing I'm looking forward to is this little "drift-nic" going down Saturday. Not so much a car meet, but a nice little BBQ with some old friends.
This little get together is well needed. It's been a crazy summer. I usually only see these guys at events, demos, shows, booths, etc, so it'll be nice to just kick back, hang out, and enjoy the beautiful weather as summer in SoCal winds down. No event coverage, no demos, no worries, just eating drinking and being merry with some good friends. The R/C drift track should be a good time too. My friends from Groovy Drift are cruising up from San Diego so I'm sure they will bring a sweet track setup.
Time to go, I've got to finish making an R/C replica of my friend's vertex ridge kitted Nissan Silvia S15. In return I get some bomb-ass homemade egg rolls and a nice little drive in the S15. But for now, I'll leave you with a couple sweet R/C drifting videos for those of you who aren't in the know:
