Ah, I love it when new parts come in the mail.  It's like Christmas time as a kid all over again.  This package came just in time for the weekend before I go out of town, containing a hood vent/scoop delete from KS Technology.  This weekend is going to be awesome.  But now, it's time to drop off this new part to my painter, MOB Works, so they can spray this along with a new front bumper.  As crazy as this weekend is going to be, I can't wait to get back and check out the newly painted parts.

So, what is everyone else doing for Memorial Weekend?  I'm heading down to San Diego with a group of friends.  We have some killer things on our agenda that involve Pacific Beach (PB) where you can have an open container on the beach, Gas Lamp District, SDSU friends, basically as much partying as we can fit into a few days.  The one thing I'm looking forward to is playing this Frisbee drinking game called Tip-It at Pacific Beach.  Leave it to my friends and me to turn anything into a drinking game...

Here's how you play:
It's two on two and you stand on the same side as your partner, one person in front and one in back.  The other team throws the "Bee" nice and easy.  The person in front must tip the Bee to their partner in order to score points (aka drinks for the other team).  A tip with the hand is 1 point, with the head is 2, and with the foot is 3.  The person has to make the catch in order for the points to count.  They can also tip it back for up to 3 more points depending on what was used for the tip-back.  However many points are scored, the opposing team must take that many individual drinks before the next turn can start.  Game is played to 21, and the losing team has to down a full beer each.

Our plan is play Tip-It all day Saturday at the beach before going out.  There's nothing better that chilling at the beach in beautiful Southern California playing a nice game of Frisbee with a cold beer in hand.  I'm just so excited about this weekend; Friday at work won't end soon enough.  Thank god it's a three day weekend so I don't come down with a case of the Mondays, but it looks like it's going to be a case of the Tuesdays instead.  

Next week, all the parts for the WRX will be painted and I'll have more updates for you.  But this weekend, I'm taking a nice little break from automobiles (except for the fact that I have to drive my a-hole friends down to San Diego and back!)
