Pick it up!  The issue is out...I just got my copy, and it's outta control, which is saying a lot since I don't like the whole micro-movement.

The articles have real meaning.  Two that caught my eye were the how-to on offsets...not just some regujitated crap from other mags, but all-new ish.  There's also a good story on how to build a lightweight audio system...pretty tight.

1. To be honest, I wasnt that impressed. Its just okay for me. They definetly need a new tech editor because there is wrong infromation all over the place. On one page it states that a particular xb has a "ken's style" front lip <----this is laughable, I would expect and import tuner magazine to be more familiar with jdm parts, kenstyle (not ken's style) is a very popular company. On another page it states that a particular carbon fiber hood is made by carbon creations, but carbon creations doesnt even make a hood like this. It is a bbist hood (there is even a bbist sticker on it in the picture). These are just error I found flipping through, I have not even read it yet.

2. Over all the magazine was okay...a few errors here and there but the magazine is still at its early stages. It was enjoyable to read...it wasnt a buncha crap...I like the performance parts section...theres alot of people that have no idea what there putting in there car. This magazine I believe will me the ultimate micro compact automotive car magazine if it sticks with the performance oriented side of it...Siphon also gave me ideas what I'm going to do with my Yaris! ;-D

3. I would like to subscribe to a mag that takes entry level cars , make that light weight and cheap, and rebuilds them along the line of the JC Works Cooper. I bought a vibe GT and was left without many up grades.

7. I am so glad that Import Tuner released Siphon. There are 7-9 import mags and they all deal with the same cars. Evo's, STi's 350z, etc etc. Cars that have a 25k+ entry fee. Yeah sure they are all cool and hella fast. But lets be real, a lot more people have the money to get a fit, xB, xA, Yaris and put two grand in mods in and still have a practicle daily driver than they do a car like an evo. I think you will see more and more b-segment cars at show, maybe out numbering more higher end japanese performance cars in the future.

8. As i type i have the Mag in my hand, very impressive stuff. Though the mistakes were simple its nothing to snap at. The magazine was a very creative idea and you would be surprised the kind of effect micro cars take on in the Caribbean.

10. looked ok some things could have been done better sure but thats anything maybe they could do an build up of a mr2 mk1 that would be tight but i don't see it happening heres to hoping and to see what comes of the mirco scene

11. I like it and, let's face it, it's the only show in town. If anybody knows of another mag in this niche let me know, I'm starving. And, I'd like a little help reading Japanese. It's a bust getting to the JDM websites only to be aced because I didn't take Japanese is high school, who knew?

So... that said, I'd like to suggest a couple of things to the boys at the presses. 1. how about an all Yaris issue(Honda, ha)going into everything they're doing in Japan, (maybe later we can have a little fit) and 2. How about translating that Vitz book (you know the one they say "just look at the pictures") into good old Americano.

All in all I a pretty happy camper (no, I don't sleep in my Yaris). Keep doing what you're doing with Siphon. Don't be discouraged by grumpy guys, (didn't he hear that nobody likes a know-it-all).

12. So, you've got me buying three issues now. Your most interesting articles ,besides the ads, have been the fit jackson racing supercharger,the blitz kit for the yaris that you didn't say much about,and the 280 hp nissan versa race car (oh that wasn,t really covered) You need to get the other micro cars onboard. If you boosted an Aveo you would have covered the most widely sold micro compact in the U.S. ! Get a reporter on the Yaris 1.8l , put the TRD supercharger on it and run it against a Cooper Sp; that would sell magazines.

13. Today I finally got the issue that last came out. I found it to be very good however the rides that are on there are the same ones I have seen on other magazines. For instance my ride has been on the website pictures for several companies out there and none have offered to do a magazine shoot on it. It has more Mods than a hand full out there. What does it take to be able to make it. That is the question???? But As I always say You Live And Learn.

14. I was curious what the status is on this magazine. Will this turn into a monthly magazine eventually? Or will it stay quarterly? I have many people who I think are worthy of being featured in your guy's magazine. Please check us out!
