Daily Driver vs. Fast Street Car

Many people wanna buy a daily driver as to not punish their connecting rod bearings and forged pistons every 55-degree morning.  So they buy a daily driver.

The thing is, each day that passes, you lose a day to drive and enjoy what presumably took you years to save for, build, and tune.  After trying to "save" my project car, I've decided to just drive it every day.  If the motor needs rebuilding a year sooner, so be it.  At least I'll enjoy it...until the weather gets bad enough, which in Cali, that means 2 inches of rain and party cloudy skies 50% of the time.
